Healthy options for restaurant/fast food dining

1.Taco Bell

So Let’s begin with my personal favorite fast food stop. It may surprise you that taco bell was ranked the healthiest fast food restaurant, but of course you need to know what to order. The Power Bowl with chicken is amazing. Order this without the sour cream and cheese for a healthy, tasty meal. This bowl is filled with shredded chicken, pico, lettuce, guacamole, black beans and rice. Yum!

2. Mcdonalds

So there are two choices that spring to mind when thinking of healthy but delicious meal options at Mcdonalds. My first pick is the Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Get this one without sauce and you’re in for a nice surprise at 380 calories. My second go to is the Egg Mcmuffin without cheese. This breakfast anytime delight has egg and Canadian bacon.I pair this with some apple slices and am good to go for under 300 calories.

3. Chick-Fil-A

Do you want nuggets? Well look no further than the Grilled Nuggets at Chick-Fil-A. They are mighty tasty and when paired with a medium fruit cup, absolutely guilt free at 210 calories for both.

4. Wendy’s

No bland salads here! my personal favorite is the Apple Pecan Chicken Salad. There is so much flavor it barely needs dressing, and the half salad is only 340 calories. You can’t go wrong with the half Southwest Avocado And Chicken Salad either. This baby is 300 calories of yum.

5. Red Robin

Now let’s make our way to some more traditional, sit down restaurants. I was blown away by Red Robin’s lettuce wrap burgers. I’m a big fan of their Simply Grilled Chicken made into a lettuce wrap. At 360 calories it’s the way to go. I also adore their Veggie Burger lettuce wrap option. Take out the aioli and cheese to make it super healthy while remaining delicious.

6. Buffalo Wild Wings

Now here’s one you may not expect, but I swear it’s true. Their Veggie burger is splendidly delicious. At less than 320 calories it’s packed with protein and healthy fats from avocado slices. Remove the top of the bun to create an open faced dish of yum. If you’re still craving more, add on a side salad with light dressing for a full meal.
